From Ron (the Martyr) Mann, Gramline — regarding site damage in Terrey Hills.
Dear Northern Beaches City Council,
When I walked on the site in Terrey Hills on my block of land, purchased to help my business for Gramline for expanding distribution and to create wealth in my endeavors for the nation building of Australia. I was absolutely gobsmacked how much damage had been done to the property and how much it will take to mediate the site.
I haven’t been on the property in the last 5 to 10 years, because of my age, and eyesight, which affects my driving ability. However, I was directed to the site on the day of my passed Mum’s birthday. In order for me to pay to fix something I didn’t do. When will the abuse of power be ended, when will the local government take responsibility for the people who employ them in their district? Now I want to know who is responsible for allowing this situation to continue over the last 3 years without the slightest attempt for abatement. Who in Government actually supports nation builders?
The state of the property was immediately apparent as a disaster upon my first inspection. This individual and another 30 or 40 people have been allowed to continue damaging my property without any intervention or comment from the councilors or even my daughters and son-in-law. One of which is a builder.
While my adult children have visited, their lack of professional experience means they were likely not equipped to correctly assess or understand the extent of the damage. I believed Gideon's explanations over the past twelve months concerning his supposed efforts to clean the premises, which now appear to have been the opposite with Gideon possibly burying material. My daughter believes that the level has grown in the 12 months since the last inspection.
Under freedom of information, I want the list of complaints, to find out what is going on. As I'm the victim, I want to know. Who allowed all these trucks to come day after day, without any approach to me. I want a royal commission, I want to know who has benefited from this all these years, and who has done all the damage all these years.
Is my life in danger, or will the Council take responsibility for this complete and utter fiasco. The council needs to block the site off for usage until we come to a resolution. The only action you took on December 19th was to run away.
